Over 100 free and ticketed talks, walks, workshops, agent 1-2-1s, networking events, poetry and free events to inspiire writers to write.
A carefully curated selection of self-published, published and writing professionals impart their knowledge and advice to writers of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and genres, regardless of where they are on their writing journey, taking place in multiple venues across Bournemouth Town Centre.
As part of the Bournemouth Writing Festival's manifesto, free workshops for underprivileged writers take place during the festival, including for adults with additional needs, homeless, those sidelined from society (ex-prisoners, addicts and refugees), people with dementia and children in care. Competitions for schools and home-educated children as well as free workshops for children and families during the festival make sure that everyone is included and stories heard.
Profits from the Romance Writing Festival contributes to the Bournemouth Writing Festival to allow us to support writers from all areas of our community.
